Introduction

Welcome to our collection of downloadable record albums.  Each one is encoded to archive quality (320kbps) MP3 format.  These are direct transfers from original VG+ to near mint vinyl records which are scrubbed with a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine just prior to recording through a studio quality Echo Digital Audio soundcard.  We do not use any noise reduction software but do manually remove any large clicks and pops.  The audio files are tagged with artist name, track title and album details.  A zip file is created which includes a high resolution image (JPEG) of the front of the album cover.  Due to the large number of records we offer, a nominal fee is charged for each download.  This variable fee is based on the length of the recording.

Getting Started

First time buyers will need to register.  Simply go to the sign up page, select the album you wish to download, choose a username and password, make your payment with Paypal and you will be granted access to the zip file.  Once you are registered, you can view your member information and active downloads from the login page.

Things You Should Know

- The addition of albums from the old catalog is a phased operation.  See the tentative release dates below.

- An all new album will be added on the first and fifteen of each month.  Check the recent additions page.

- Once you order an album, you have one day to download it.  E-mail us if you experience any problems.

- Sample audio files are encoded at a low bitrate.  With earphones, compare sample quality vs. download quality.

- We plan to sell many of the original record albums in the fall of 2007.

- Due to large file sizes, our service is not recommended for dial up connections. 

- Orders for Digital Gold discs are no longer accepted.
